Are you an operational powerhouse who thrives on building systems that enable impact?
DataDrive2030 is looking for an experienced, strategic, and highly organised Office & Operations Manager to join our growing team in Cape Town.
This is not a routine office management role. This is a leadership opportunity to build and strengthen the operational backbone of a social enterprise working to change the life trajectory of young children in South Africa.
Why We Exist
DataDrive2030 is a South African social enterprise focused on impact. We support the collection and use of high-quality data to drive improved child outcomes in the first six years of life.
For too many children, early learning experiences reinforce cycles of poverty and inequality. We believe data – when used well – can help close those opportunity gaps.
Our 2030 goals are clear:
- Decrease the performance gap between young children in the richest and poorest households at the point of school entry.
- Increase the percentage of children who Thrive by Five, setting more children up for success.
As a learning organisation, we value rigour, depth, openness, and creativity. We aim for operational excellence because our impact depends on it.
About the Role
This is a full-time, office-based role in Cape Town, with oversight of operations across both our Cape Town and Johannesburg offices.
The Office & Operations Manager ensures a stable, efficient, and well-functioning work environment across all physical and digital spaces. You will provide strategic leadership to the operations function, ensuring systems are professional, reliable, and scalable.
Key Areas of Responsibility
You will:
- Ensure fit-for-purpose facilities across Cape Town and Johannesburg
- Provide strategic oversight of organisational assets and IT ecosystems (Microsoft 365, Asana, Google Drive, data security protocols)
- Oversee end-to-end production and distribution of ELOM assessment kits
- Lead logistics for national events, launches, and strategy convenings
- Partner with the Finance Director on procurement processes and operational budgets
- Design and audit operational policies, SOPs, and health & safety protocols
- Identify and mitigate operational risks
- Line manage the Office Operations Administrator and support staff
- Support HR-related administration and seamless onboarding
- Collaborate across Business Units to execute organisational strategy
This role is ideal for someone who sees operations not as back-office support, but as a strategic enabler of impact.
